Loren will motivate you to find your passion, destroy your obstacles and unleash your gift. Nurture it. Protect it. Grow it. Give it away!
Many people have no idea what they are the best in the world at because they have been told all their life they are good for nothing.
Many are bound by the habits or mindsets they adopted early on that prevent them from getting, keeping and excelling in a career at which they are the best in the world.
Many people believe they have no right to pursue their passions until the children are grown, the mortgage is paid off and retirement has begun. This is called living in a RUT!
Are you living in a rut? Here are some questions that will help you identify the rut you are stuck in and help you to see the path to your significance.
- Are you bored, unmotivated or passionless in your work?
- Are you content with your success and yet restless inside?
- What was the childhood dream that motivated your deepest fiery passion?
- Did you abandon that dream?
- Were you told “You can never do that.” “You will never make any money at that.”
- Does your vision of the future look anything like your childhood dreams?
- Does your vision of the future look anything like where you are now?
- What three words will others use describe you when you are gone?
- What is the greatest gift, strength or talent you possess?
- Do you use that gift, strength or talent in your vocation everyday?
- Do you use that gift, strength or talent to positively impact the quality of other lives?
- Do you have habits that will make living your dream difficult?
If you struggled to answer these questions you should take a moment now to seriously consider them or plan to continue living in a rut of boredom and dissatisfaction.
It is possible to be free from the rut. It is possible to live a life of passion and vision. It is possible to overcome obstacles. It is your time. Loren will inspire you to move beyond the past, embrace the future and tolerate no excuses from themselves.
As a child victim of sexual assault, verbal and physical abuse, and being forced to grow up too fast with no father figure, Loren is a survivor by any standard of measure. Learning to cope with set backs, overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs drove Loren to pursue success with a tenacity that few possess.
Leaving college to serve his country in the first Gulf War, Loren was a Fire Fighter in the US Air Force. He left the service with limited mobility and no cartilage in either knee as a result of injury during training. This meant no career in Fire Fighting and starting over as a civilian. From the bottom up, Loren learned to master the power of sales and earned his way to a ten year career in sales and marketing with a Fortune 50 company.
In 1993, Loren began diligently studying the art of starting and running a small business and launched Tell It Like It Is, which became an S-Corp in 2003. In 2005, Loren added his life long passions of entertainment and public speaking to his small publishing business and continued to build his company as a part-time job. When Loren was laid of for the fourth and final time from corporate America, he applied the discipline and sacrifice required to remain self-employed and has been since 2008.
Since then, Loren has written and published Live A More Excellent Life, competed as a semifinalist in the International Speech Competition, coached the Dale Carnegie Course, become a Certified Leadership Speaker, Trainer and Coach with the John Maxwell Team and spoken to thousands of people at all levels and ages about finding and living their life’s greatest passion regardless of obstacles.
When you are ready to bring your life back under control, kick the habits that are kicking your butt, overcome the obstacles that have blocked your path to success and begin to live the life of fiery passionate vision that makes you come alive with significance, then you are ready to Live A More Excellent Life.
Loren leads seminars, masterminds and small group studies based on the strategies he used to break free from the rut and find his significance in life. His World Championship Speech is a very small example of the stories, example and passion he brings to the keynote address.
